Rare Books Librarian and Archivist
Elizabeth Haluska-Rausch joined us as the new Rare Books Librarian and Archivist on Monday, June 2, 2008. She came to us from Southern Methodist University's Perkins School of Theology , where she served as Curator of Special Collections in the School’s Bridwell Library. She holds both an MA and PhD in Medieval History from Harvard University and an MS from the University of North Texas’ School of Library and Information Science.
At Bridwell, Elizabeth worked with one of the country's outstanding collections of rare books focusing on theology and philosophy. She brings to Tarlton considerable knowledge of the rare book market and significant experience in promoting and expanding the accessibility of special collections.
Please join us in welcoming her to Tarlton, The University of Texas, and the Austin community.
