The University of Texas at Austin

Past exams

Faculty members can have copies of past exams made available to students in the Library by submitting copies of the exams and answer keys or sample answers to Jane O'Connell (, 471-7726). Electronic copies of these materials are preferred.

The Library maintains an online database of exams administered since 1993 that is organized by instructor name or course title. The past exam database is accessible only to UT law students, faculty, and staff.

In addition, the Library binds print copies of exams and includes them in the collection. Exams that are less than 10 years old are maintained in open stacks beginning at call number KF 292 T45 A25. Copies of older exams are available in the Rare Books Room on the 6th floor.

Faculty members may specify whether copies of their exams and/or sample answers should be made available online, in print, or in both formats.

Questions concerning past exams should be addressed to liaisons or to Jane O'Connell (, 471-7726).
